The G. W. Henderson, Sr. Recreation Center is located just outside of Tunica, Mississippi and is the administrative office for the Parks & Recreation Department. The Center is 21,000 square feet and is a great place to hold your next sporting event, corporate retreat, concert, meeting or family reunion.

The Recreation Center serves as host to local and regional tournaments and include men’s and women’s dressing and locker rooms. Events such as the MRPA Men and Women District and State Basketball Tournaments, Gold Strike Casino Annual Holiday Classic and Memphis Grizzlies Youth Jam are held each year.

The G. W. Henderson, Sr. Recreation Center is home to the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Mississippi Delta and serves as the headquarters for operations of all the sports and enrichment programs. The facility is 21,000 square feet and includes full court gymnasium with side goals and stage, dressing rooms, meeting hall with kitchen, computer lab and art lab.
